An Easy to follow Code Classroom Syllabus.

I was recently asked this question:

Do you guys have Teacher Resources like a syllabus, pacing guide, etc.?

Answer:

We’ve made StudioWeb self-evident and automatic (if you will) in terms of syllabus and pacing. The courses are presented in the order in which they should be studied:

  1. HTML5
  2. CSS3
  3. JavaScript
  4. Python
  5. PHP
  6. SQL

In terms of pacing, we assume a self-paced learning model. So at any particular time, different students will be at different points in the courses. Since StudioWeb tracks and grades students automatically, teachers have the freedom, as do students, to learn at their own pace.

… This means that some students won’t feel left behind, while others won’t feel held back.

In the end, you can assure teachers that the outcomes will be fantastic, as students happily learn to write real code and understand the underlying concepts.

Besides the 1000+ code challenges and quiz questions, we provide 57 projects that teachers can assign to students. These assignments are bound to chapters in courses. We provide the answers (completed results,) and a 2 tier grading rubric to make it really easy for teachers.

It works very well.

If you have any questions, or would like to demo StudioWeb for your classroom, school or district, feel free to contact us.

Have a great day!
