StudioWeb’s foundation was built on interactive video courses that provide a lot of learning value- your students will learn practical skills that they will be able to demonstrate.

However, StudioWeb’s strengths stem from the tools that streamline the process of teaching a class.

This is how some teachers are using StudioWeb:

Step One

At the start of the school year, students do the evaluation exam which covers the core subjects taught in StudioWeb: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL and MySQL.

You now have your pre test results as a baseline to measure your students’ progress throughout the year.

Step Two

Students now use StudioWeb to learn the core subjects. Students work at their own pace and the interactive quizzing and code challenges reinforce the material covered in the videos.

Step Three

Teachers can use the answer-book and the source files to easily create homework assignments and in-class projects: build a simple two page site, create an HTML form, process a simple form with PHP, etc…

Step Four

At the end of the year, students who have successfully completed the StudioWeb Foundation courses, can now do the certification exam.

The StudioWeb Web Foundations certification exam covers the same material found in the evaluation exam. It is an easy way to demonstrate how much students have learned over the course of the school year, all automated, and from an impartial 3rd party source.
